Most sessions will be 90 minutes and the cost for this is $185.

Some sessions will be 60 minutes and the cost for these is $160.

There is a concession rate for pensioners.

Medicare gives a rebate for each session. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, you will be reimbursed $139.55. A MHCP will give you 6-10 sessions rebatable per calendar year. Because of covid, the government has increased the number of sessions to give an extra 10 sessions, bringing the total to 20 per calendar year and this will be continued for 2022. If you have a MHCP for Eating Disorders, you will be able to claim 20 sessions per calendar year. 

A discount may be available in some circumstances with a Pension or HCC

If you do not have a MHCP, or have used all your sessions, you will be able to claim a consultation rebate from Medicare (as Caroline is a GP), which will give you a rebate of $110.50. There is no limit to the number of visits per year for this  rebate. Private Health Extras Insurance does not apply.

Cancellation policy: cancellations more than 24 hours prior to your appointment will not be charged. If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your appointment, there will be a $70 cancellation fee. There is no Medicare rebate for this fee. 

How to pay: Cash, Direct Deposit or Credit Card via Square (a tap and go type reader). Receipts can be hard copy or emailed for easy Medicare claiming.
